I SPENT TIME AT ST JOHNS FROM 1965 TO 1969. THERE I TOO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE HEAVY STICK OF THIS SISTER FINBARR. WHILE I WAS IN THE G DORM SHE WOULD CARRY THIS LITTLE BAMBOO STICK AND WOULD LOVE TO WHACK THE KIDS WITH IT EVEN IF THEY DIDN`T MOVE FAST ENOUGH FOR HER. HER FAMOUS QUOTE WAS MOVE ON. SHE NEVER SMILED.I HATED THAT NUN. IT IS A SHAME BUT I TOO HAVE VERY UNPLEASENT THOUGHTS OF MY CHILDHOOD THERE AND I TOO REMEMBER HAVING TO GO OUTSIDE IN THE COLD WINTERS AND FIND A WARM SPOT IN THE SUN OUT OF THE WIND. I REMEMBER THE OLD CATACOMBS UNDER THE SCHOOL THAT WOULD BE USED WHEN IT RAINED. I REMEMBER SO MUCH I LOVE TO FORGET IT.IT`S HARD THOUGH AND SOME FELLAS NEVER WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.
